I've decided pneumonia is my least favorite sicknesses to deal with. It NEVER goes away!!! Ever since we came home from Arizona, Nolan has had a cough that has caused him to miss A LOT of school. Especially the past two weeks. We got him on the antibiotic and the medicine for wheezing and it STILL didn't totally go away, but I thought it was getting better. Than this morning he woke up feeling bad again and his cough was starting to sound like it did before we started the medicine. What did they give us? WATER? So, I kept him home again today, called the doctor up, went in to get a different antibiotic and stronger cough medicine, went to Sam's Club to get the prescription. "AGAIN?," asks the pharmacist. "Yep, again." This is our 3rd or 4th visit in the past month. The doctor told me that his cough should be totally gone by Monday. If it's not, he will be getting a chest x-ray. The doctor told me it's a miracle that I haven't gotten sick yet. I don't think Moms are allowed to when their kids are. Tomorrow is parent-teacher conference. I'm sure all these absences Nolan's been having won't help in the decision to move him to 1st grade next year. Oh well, what needs to be done, will be done. We will see.
p.s. Yesterday, Nolan went to school. We had given the teacher some cough drops for Nolan in case he got into a coughing fit. He was having a little trouble at recess with coughing. All the running around and being active really gets it going. She said she had brought a cough drop with her in her pocket just in case. So, once she saw he was having trouble, she went up to him and opened her hand with the cough drop in it. Nolan looked at it and said, "SWEET!"

It kind of sounds like Asthma a bit Ange - especially since it's lasted for so long. Asthma gets inflamed when the child has a cough or cold or something. We deal with it with C all the time. Hope you figure it out!!!
