Pumpkin Carving And Halloween Party

We were cutting it a little close, but finally got the pumpkin carved on Halloween before the trick or treaters came.  I guess I forgot to take a pic of the finished product...oh well.

This is kind of out of order, but on Halloween morning, Annika and I went to go see Nolan walk in the parade around the school.  Adam met us at the school a bit after and we stayed and helped in his class for the day.  I guess it's become kind of a tradition for us to go help in Nolan's class on Halloween.  It was fun.

Do you see Nolan?

The kids were to race across with an eyeball candy on their spoon without it dropping on the ground.  If it did, they had to turn around and start over.  Slow and steady wins the race!

One of the main reasons we come to help on Halloween is to bring the food for the party, or some of it at least! :) Some of the kids from Nolan's Kindergarten class still talk about it.  This is the second year we brought a dirt cake.  Oreo no-bake cheescake.  YUM!
