Poor Annika woke up in the middle of the night crying. I believe this was the 3rd time I got up with her, so it may have taken me a little while until I heard her this time since she was already on her way to get me this time. She had a bad dream. She told me all about it, repeating these things over and over...
That guy hurt me.
He did it on purpose.
He poked my eye.
He pushed me right here.
That guy needs to go in time out!
I need to go tell Nolan!
She was very upset. It was a little cute though. I snuggled her close and assured her that "that guy" was in time out. She could tell Nolan about it in the morning, he was still asleep. I was prepared to have her sleep with me the rest of the night...at that point I was too tired to make her go to her bed. But, after a little bit, she said she was ready to go back to her princess bed. She slept the rest of the night. Thank goodness!

Motivation
By far, the hardest part of this pregnancy so far is the lack of motivation I've had to get things done. :P It's horrible because it's so not me! I don't know if it's from being so exhausted or what, but the last couple of months I've only been able to handle the bare minimum. For example, I know the laundry has to get done, so I'll do it and dry it, but it may be sitting in the dryer for a couple of days before it gets folded and put away. :( Or, all the leftover food gets put away in the frig, but doesn't necessarily get eaten and doesn't necessarily get thrown away, but instead turns into a science experiment (as Adam puts it, haha). Oh boy! And, forget the deep cleaning, I'll wipe things down and make them appear clean, but that's about it. I can't stand dust, and normally dust often, but that has been put off as well. Papers have been piling up, things have not been put away in "their spot." I like to be organized, and I have not felt organized for the last couple of months. After the kids go to bed, that is my time to craft and get things in my etsy shop. I've had such a busy month, I believe I've had about 25 sales for May so far, but that hasn't been motivation enough to keep me working at night. I try to make my items as they sale, so my shop stays full, but not a whole lot extra lately. Instead, all I can handle is laying in bed and watching a movie before I fall asleep. GAHHH! One thing I haven't lost motivation on is exercise. Thankfully, I've been able to stay on top of that, but if it doesn't happen first thing in the morning, it doesn't happen at all that day. I've been worried that I would never get my motivation back, but finally today, it has RETURNED!!! I have taken advantage of this and also taken advantage of my wonderful husband who took the whole day off of his catering work to help me get a head start. He and the kids did a bunch of yard work, while I focused on cleaning the inside. Mainly the bathrooms, blinds, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry, AND cleaning the windows, (I did the inside and Adam did the outside). Normally, I would be exhausted right now, but not so much. I'm ready for more! It has felt GREAT, but is not even close to being done. I hope tomorrow to tackle the frig...PLEASE say my motivation will not go away. And right now, although it does sound good to go relax in front of a movie, I've got some bows I need to get packaged up and some more made. Oh and that basket of laundry WILL get folded and put away before I go to bed. Thank you very much!!!

Big Girl Bed!
A wonderful friend gave us this Tinkerbell Toddler bed for Annika. The minute Annika saw it, she fell in love! She couldn't wait to sleep in it tonight! She fell asleep without any problems. She had no nap today, so that may have helped. We'll see. I am relieved!!! This was one of my main goals before the baby comes... I think we can take the crib down for a short while. We'll see after tonight.

My Girl
I can't believe how much this little girl has grown up in the last couple of months. She is so sweet and yet so stubborn as well. Sometimes she is so good at cleaning up her toys and other times she throws the biggest fit ever! I love the imagination these little people develop at this age. Her stuffed animals and dolls are so real to her. She often has at least one in her arms. She always wants to take them with her when we go places and she always wants to bring at least one of them to bed with her. She likes to pick out her own outfits and often times they don't match...at all! She often times wants mismatching socks on, sometimes only one sock on, and if she had it her way, mismatching shoes as well. When Nolan comes home from school, she is at his side the rest of the afternoon. I think they will have a fun summer together!

Baby Update Continued...
Today's ultrasound shows the baby's due date December 22nd. I'm kinda hoping the baby's just measuring small, we'll see. Sooo, anyone want to spend Christmas in California? I know where I'll be! :P Hopefully, when it gets closer, I can at least have the baby a couple days early so I can hopefully be out of the hospital before Christmas. If not, whatever's meant to happen will happen, I guess. It will be PERFECT! :)
